BURGER 99

Inspired by 90's era culture Burger 99 is a modern translation of the classic burger joint, by the Mahendro Family (of Badmaash fame). The space emphasizes simplistic forms, and geometric shapes to evoke a subtle, pared down 90's aesthetic. White rendered walls punctuated by rich saturated brights provide a light backdrop for a display of nostalgic memorabilia running the length of the walls. The ceiling is accented by directional neon lighting indirectly referential of the classic take-out stand.

Jill has partnered with the Mahendro family since 2011 as the project lead and designer for their first Badmaash location, their latest commercial kitchen and now Burger 99.
